This performance is developed with opera singer Levy Pletting. The piece transforms everyday frustrations into over-dramatized arias, merging classical singing with techniques of whining and crying. Small inconveniences: an unmade bed, spilled wine, or the guilty search for a frozen pizza, become stages for exaggerated lamentations that are at once tragic, absurd, and humorous.
